How delivery charges are calculated
AmpereX does not publish a flat delivery rate, and delivery is not free by default. The charge is worked out for each shipment from:
- Payment method selected
- Delivery city and destination
- Package or cargo weight
- Package dimensions
- Courier or cargo service selected
- COD availability and the COD charges that apply
Delivery charges therefore vary from order to order.
- Delivery charges vary from order to order and are calculated per shipment.
- AmpereX communicates the applicable delivery charges and payment requirements before dispatch wherever possible.
- Confirming an order means accepting the payment, delivery, courier or cargo, COD and government charges that apply to the delivery method chosen.
- Courier and cargo charges are set by the logistics provider and are outside the control of AmpereX. They are payable by the customer and are not disputable on the basis of the courier's own published rates.
Cargo services for shipments over 10 kg
Batteries are heavy. Above roughly 10 kg, courier pricing rises steeply and cargo becomes the sensible option.
- For shipments over 10 kg, AmpereX may recommend a cargo service after discussing the option with you.
- Cargo is usually far cheaper than courier for heavy shipments, which is why it is recommended where practical.
- Cargo services generally do not support cash on delivery.
- If you choose COD instead of a recommended cargo service, you are responsible for the delivery and COD charges the courier quotes.
Cash on delivery and its charges
- Cash on delivery is available only in selected situations and locations, subject to courier availability and AmpereX approval.
- For COD orders up to Rs. 30,000, a partial advance payment may be required to confirm the order.
- Where the COD amount exceeds Rs. 30,000, the amount above the applicable COD limit must be paid in advance by bank transfer or another approved online payment method.
- Government taxes, GST, courier charges and other applicable fees may be added to COD transactions where required by law or by the courier, and are payable by the customer.
Whether COD can be offered on your order depends on:
- Courier service covering the destination
- Destination city or area
- Product being shipped
- Order value
- Other conditions applied by the courier
The payment side of COD, including the advance rules, is set out on the payment methods page.
Taxes and government charges
- GST, withholding tax, COD charges and other government-mandated taxes and fees may be added to an order where applicable.
- AmpereX is required to collect and charge applicable government taxes and statutory charges under prevailing regulations.
- These charges are not set by AmpereX and are payable by the customer where applicable.
Delivery times
Times below are indicative transit times after dispatch. They are not a guaranteed delivery date, and courier performance is outside our control.
| Area | Coverage | Typical time | Charge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lahore | Lahore city, including Valencia Town, DHA, Gulberg, Johar Town and Bahria Town | Same day where stock allows | Quoted per order |
| Major cities | Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Peshawar | 1-3 business days | Quoted per order |
| Rest of Pakistan | All other cities and towns served by our courier and cargo partners | 3-5 business days | Quoted per order |
- Subject to the item being in stock at the Valencia Town store.
- Collection in person from the store is also available.
- Dispatched by courier with a tracking number shared on WhatsApp.
- Lithium batteries move by road; air freight is not used for cell shipments.
- Remote and security-restricted areas may add 2 business days.
- Shipments over 10 kg are often better sent by cargo.
How batteries are packed
- Cells and packs are shipped in impact-resistant cartons with foam or moulded inserts.
- Terminals are capped and insulated to prevent short circuits in transit.
- Cartons carry the lithium battery handling marks required for road transport.
- Each shipment includes the invoice and the serial numbers used for warranty registration.
Checking your delivery
- Inspect the carton for crush damage or leakage before accepting it.
- Check the serial numbers against the invoice at the door.
- Report transit damage within 24 hours of delivery, with photographs, so a replacement can be arranged.
- Signing for a shipment without noting visible damage limits what can be claimed as transit damage.
Returns
- Unused, unopened products may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
- Products must be in original packaging with all accessories and the invoice.
- A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to returns of non-defective goods.
- Return freight on a non-defective return is payable by the customer.
- Refusing a confirmed COD order at the door makes the return freight chargeable to the customer.
- Custom-built packs, special orders and project deliveries are not returnable.
- Defective products are handled under the AmpereX warranty rather than as returns, and are not subject to a restocking fee.
A faulty battery is a warranty matter, not a return. Start at warranty check with your serial number.
Project deliveries
Deliveries that form part of a custom build or an installation are scheduled against the project, not the courier network, and are covered by the project delivery terms.
